What’s up everyone! Week 1 had plenty of points to be made. Alot of them! This week’s power rankings probably make no sense right now, but so did the games this past weekend. It’ll clear itself up after…maybe…Week 3. Right now, this is Week 2’s Power Rankings that’s a little volatile. Just like the Cardinals defeating the Chargers, the Broncos getting smoked by the Chiefs, the Rams allegedly not interested in Australia as much as the 49ers were, the Packers choking away another winning opportunity in the 4th quarter, the Bears, the Lions, and the Saints unleashing everything on the scoreboard, the Jets and Giants winning their first game together in Week 1, and the entire NFC South ending the week with nothing but L’s. What will Week 2 bring us? Guess we’ll find out! Enjoy the rest of your day everyone!

Kenneth Walker and the Chiefs defense dominated the Broncos from start to finish. There was no letting up on the AFC Championship contenders and made them look like a second tier of the AFC West. Kansas City most likely are back in the thick of the AFC race after their primetime performance. Patrick Mahomes held up well and looks as limber as he was before the injury.

9) CHICAGO BEARS

On one hand, it’s concerning that Chicago would allow over 30 points to the Carolina Panthers. On the other hand, Chicago scoring 50 points means I guess this offense is doing great. The only issue is they can’t rely on it every game unless this is the new way of playing football in 2026. Otherwise, they might be tested against stronger defenses that’ll determine if they’re built for another postseason run.

8) SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Whether or not the Rams wanted to be Australia, it didn’t matter. Both teams strapped on their pads, took the field, and played. The 49ers came out on top with ease. Brock Purdy looked solid, the skills players led by Mike Evans and Christian McCaffrey got the better of the Rams’ defense, and the defense led by Fred Warner’s return and Greenlaw’s presence again gave Matt Stafford a taste of his own medicine. If the 49ers can just stay healthy, this is a very dangerous team.

7) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Jacksonville nearly pushed Deshaun Watson back to the bench where he belonged for a couple of seasons. Trevor Lawrence had a 4 passing touchdown day with Parker Washington getting the attention for 83 yards and a touchdown. The defense feasted on Watson for five sacks and an interception. Jacksonville’s defense picked up where they left off last season.

6) LOS ANGELES RAMS

Things didn’t go well for the Rams in Australia. Flying timing debate or not, they didn’t perform well for most of the game. The run game was eventually shut down while Myles Garrett was shut down on defense. Matt Stafford faced some serious pressure from the Niners front seven. Puka Nacua had a couple of big plays, but not much opportunity after. It’s only the first game, but the Rams have some serious problems to fix. Myles Garrett will also be out for a while, so that hurts the Rams edge a bit.

5) NEW YORK GIANTS

On a night to remember for 9/11, the Giants left a memorable moment with a big win over the Cowboys. Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo, and Malik Nabers represented a new look Giants offense that dismantled the Cowboys with ease. Adding guys like Patrick Ricard and Isaiah Likely from Baltimore literally took the tar out of Dallas’s defense while the other side put a stranglehold on Dak Prescott and the receiving corps. It’s only Week 1, but maybe there’s finally something to the Giants that everyone may have waited for.

4) PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

In a world without AJ Brown, Philly still put in a productive day until the fourth quarter where they almost lost the lead and the game. Jalen Hurts had a 3-touchdown day along with some rushing yards with Saquon Barkley putting in 83 yards on the ground. The defense couldn’t keep Jayden Daniels down the entire game, but special teams’ big front line did block an extra point. At least that part never changed.

3) CINCINNATI BENGALS

It may not seem like Joe Burrow was that productive, but throwing 254 yards for a touchdown (with an INT) is still something. It’s rare that Ja’Marr Chase didn’t get many targets and only two catches, but Mike Gesicki got the majority of it for a touchdown. The defense gets the credit for their 4 forced turnovers, including one returned for a touchdown. If they can continue that route with an offense putting in slightly better work, Cincinnati could be a problem.

2) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Seattle managed to survive and basically sweep the Patriots. Defense held up the rest of the way after allowing 10 points. The run game still has something without Kenneth Walker, but it’s a work in progress. The downside is losing Sam Darnold for a bit after a hip injury, but Drew Lock does it again like he did before as backup. We’ll see how Lock does moving forward.

1) BUFFALO BILLS

No matter what situation the Bills are in, Josh Allen always finds way. His rushing touchdown was impressive, and his late touchdown pass to Josh Palmer showed why he is the G.O.A.T. for Buffalo. The game was a surprising shootout with how strong Houston’s defense usually is. But Buffalo forced their hand and put 36 on them including forcing and recovering a fumble that ended the game. Let’s see if Buffalo finally plays that type of football that gets them to the Promiseland this season.
