WEEK 10 CFB POWER RANKINGS

What’s up everyone! After this past weekend, some things were summed up for each division as a whole. The AFC East is a Buffalo/New England race. The AFC West may belong to Denver for right now. The AFC North could slowly separate between Pittsburgh from the rest of the division. The AFC South belongs to Jacksonville until said otherwise. The NFC West could focus on the state of California after Seattle’s embarrassing home loss to Chicago. The NFC East…doesn’t have a clear favorite no matter the variables. The NFC North could have every team in the playoffs, but that’s pretty farfetched when there’s still Thanksgiving in a few weeks. The NFC South proved to still be…the NFC South. Are you kidding me, Atlanta?

There was a lot of bizarre things that happened this past weekend. Those include Cincy’s struggles against the struggling Titans. Dallas had the game in the bag to only to be robbed right under Gardner Minshew’s magical hands. Detroit hands Minnesota their first loss of the season while Tampa passes for an 0-fer while running through the mud past Atlanta’s defense. Also, hope Jack Campbell makes a full recovery🙏🏾 Lamar Jackson gets hurt once again and should be compared to Tua Tagovailoa at this point minus the playoff comparisons. The Chargers are literally unplugged thanks to Matt Stafford and the Rams. Denver held a goal line stand against Kansas City in what was their best game of the season so far. Finally, the Eagles and Colts are probably the saddest team in the NFL in 2026.

This upcoming weekend should have some pivotal matchups that’ll see who’s likely contenders and who are likely pretenders. We’re at the halfway point of the season and things might get a bit crazier from here. Until then, have a great day!

TEAMS CONSIDERED

15) GREEN BAY PACKERS (5-3)

14) NEW YORK GIANTS (4-2-1)

13) CLEVELAND BROWNS (5-3)

12) CINCINNATI BENGALS (5-2)

11) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (4-4)

10) PITTSBURGH STEELERS (6-2)

After losing a shocker to Cleveland in the first meeting, Pittsburgh returned the favor 10-fold after comments were made by Jared Verse prior to the matchup. Pittsburgh’s defense swarmed Deshaun Watson and company after Jaylen Warren and the offense ran all over them. 8 sacks on Watson summed up Pittsburgh entire day. Now, they hold the lead in the AFC North.

9) DETROIT LIONS (5-2)

Detroit is slowly recovering and getting back their key players at the right time. They did it just in time to give Minnesota their first loss of the season. Jared Goff threw his first interception of the season, but that didn’t faze him since Jahmyr Gibbs dominated the Vikings defense with over 150 yards and a touchdown after getting stifled earlier.

8) NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (5-3)

Nothing’s ever easy for New England whenever they play in Miami, but they resolved it in the second half and escaped the Dolphins’ clutches. Drake Maye put in a better second half game while the defense got after it to keep the team’s opportunity alive.

7) KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (5-2)

Kansas City was up in the fourth before Denver found their way back. Kansas City’s defense collapsed and the offense did everything possible only to come up short deep in the red zone. Emmett Johnson had a huge all-purpose yardage game that could compliment the offense and Kenneth Walker while the Chiefs still search for a top receiving target.

6) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (5-2)

Jacksonville handled their business easily against a torn down Colts team. Trevor Lawrence is playing good football and Bhayshul Tuten continues standing out as the running back of the future for the team.

5) CHICAGO BEARS (6-2)

Chicago wasn’t bothered by the 12th man as Caleb Williams and company was surgical against Seattle’s defense all night. Same can be said on the other end when they literally went on a manhunt against the offense. Special teams were big too as they blocked a field goal to keep Seattle from regaining any momentum. This was Chicago’s best performance in a hostile environment against one of the better defenses thanks to Ben Johnson.

4) DENVER BRONCOS (6-2)

Denver pulled off a comeback to equalize the Chiefs and hold them down in a goal line (and false start penalty) stand. Per usual, it’s Bo Nix’s fourth quarter. Running back Jonah Coleman may also have a future with Denver that needed a healthy run game.

3) MINNESOTA VIKINGS (6-1)

Minnesota is the last NFL team to finally lose a game. Defense was handling their job, but their offense got stagnant as the game went on and Detroit’s offense eventually got the best of them. Minnesota should be ok, but their quarterback position is still in question.

2) SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (6-1)

BYE

1) BUFFALO BILLS (6-1)

Buffalo continues rolling. There was a potential thriller coming with Lamar Jackson back in the lineup before his injury turned into a one-sided affair for the Bills. Defense did a great job taking advantage and not being overwhelmed by Derrick Henry.
