If we’re expecting any team but France to win the Group, I need reasons for it. Otherwise, focus on the next three. Senegal is a team not to overlook. They’re experienced, athletic, and also very happy to have Sadio Mané after missing the 2018 World Cup. They still advanced without him, but his addition back could power them through the Group stage and maybe even the knockout stage. Iraq doesn’t have enough World Cup experience to be up there with the likes of France or maybe Senegal, but any competitive juice with defense is welcomed to create problems. Norway with soccer star Erling Haaland could bring the juice and energy to make any World Cup fan fall in love with them. Haaland’s known amongst Americans, so this makes it more entertaining to watch and hope Norway goes far. Imagine the Thor commercials representing Haaland and the team. We need this!
