Spain looks poised to dominate the Group stage and make a run for the semifinals and more. Up-and-coming young star Lamine Yamal and company are setup to tussle with any opponent that clashes with them. Uruguay’s gone through major changes in leadership. What’s worse is that they might be without midfielder Giorgian De Arrascaeta due to a muscle injury, dampening whatever scoring opportunity this squad has. Saudi Arabia caught plenty of attention after upsetting eventual champ Argentina. Coming into this World Cup, they’re poised for a surprise knockout stage appearance with Uruguay questionable. Spain also shouldn’t overlook them. Cape Verde arrives from the African island on the biggest stage. They will learn and hopefully adapt as Group stage progresses.
