This Group might be one to keep an eye on. Everyone and their grandma’s expecting Netherlands to win the Group. I doubt anyone has a say otherwise, so let’s continue. Japan’s built for the knockout stage but must do more to threaten as an Asian squad. Since qualifying for their first World Cup in 1998, they haven’t missed it since. They are disciplined and can create issues in the right situations, but they must find ways to win knockout stages in close games than lose all 4 in one score games/penalty shootouts. Sweden’s a low-key good squad. You’d usually hear Sweden’s women soccer squad being good, but men’s soccer squad are about there too. They could find themselves in the knockout stage as runner-up or third place in the group and make the knockout round interesting. Tunisia has yet to see the knockout stage after 6 appearances. What’s worse is their lack of experience at forward, which could hinder their scoring opportunities. If no one stands out, they’re likely ousted before Game 3.
