What’s up everyone! There was plenty of wild games in Week 5. Tampa and Houston got their first wins of the season. Dallas was left in shambles with questions over the Thursday Night upset loss. The Eagles lost to the Jaguars due to 8 seconds. They know their rival’s pain losing off of 7 seconds. Green Bay wrecked Chicago days after Mike Ditka’s passing (R.I.P. man 😢🙏🏾). Miami lost, but they continue competing their asses off. Patriots destroyed Vegas, but we got to see Fernando Mendoza step onto the field towards the end. Minnesota and San Fran stay undefeated. The Steelers keep swapping between wins and losses. Giants and Commanders 👔 because of Jayden Daniels being too casual after his last play. Jets won an ugly, rainy thriller. The Broncos struggled but managed to come back and stave off the Chargers from a first win. Detroit cooked the Cardinals, and Marvin Harrison Jr. couldn’t have flown to a better team like Houston in time before Arizona got cooked. Baltimore and Atlanta were forced into overtime, but one backup quarterback played better than the other with Tua just coming in and throwing a game-ending interception. Then, we close out the week with a third overtime game down to the wire with the Bills escaping the Rams in an ugly, yet classic Monday Night thriller.
For me, I’m very happy my Niners pulled it off against their heated rivals. It capped off a great weekend for me seeing those hated rivals of college and pro football go down. Anyways, we move on to Week 6 and man, there’s so much urgency from certain teams either trying to get things going or just trying to stay afloat while 3 undefeated teams try really hard to stay that way and others battle to bring the three down to their level.
One important note: I’m going to Utah this weekend to attend the Notre Dame/BYU game. I might be a day or so late on my posts, but I do have a day off on Monday. I’ll do my best to play catch up on games before posting this out. Hope y’all have a great day!
TEAMS CONSIDERED
15) LAS VEGAS RAIDERS (3-2)
14) CHICAGO BEARS (3-2)
13) CINCINNATI BENGALS (3-2)
12) GREEN BAY PACKERS (3-2)
11) NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (3-2)
10) LOS ANGELES RAMS (2-3)

Some things in that Rams game just doesn’t make sense. They outplayed them, but Buffalo kept fighting and went back and forth with them. What cost them was two missed field goals and key miscues. The Rams are down three games to three of four 2025 playoff teams on their schedule while they’re 2-0 against the NFC East, interestingly enough. There next five games should be cakewalks to get them back into the race easily, but being down three games to the Niners in the NFC West is not a good thing unless San Fran slips up.
9) BALTIMORE RAVENS (4-1)

Baltimore has complete trust and knowledge of Snoop Huntley. The only issue they have is stopping Bijan Robinson. They eventually slowed him down, but it took a Michael Penix Jr. injury to guarantee Baltimore’s win. That was enough to drag out Atlanta in overtime and end it with a game-sealing interception. They survived this one, but they eventually played like the better team. They are currently decimated with injuries on the offensive line prior to inoming lineman Cam Jurgens.
8) NEW YORK GIANTS (3-1-1)

New York was reluctant enough to fight their way back to finish with a 👔. As odd as it is, they had opportunities to win, but Dominic Zvada missed so many field goals that could’ve won them the game to avoid overtime. Jameis Winston lost the ball on a fumble and Cam Skattebo had a key fumble that hurt their winning opportunity in overtime. The weather was ugly enough to make the game…well…ugly. How about Jameis Winston throwing 54 times? Wow, wow, wow!
7) DENVER BRONCOS (3-2)

Denver had some early struggles, but their defense made sure not to lose to a diminished Chargers team. Even without their key players on offense and defense, they got the comeback and turnovers at the end against Justin Herbert to stay within striking distance of the Chiefs in the division.
6) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (3-2)

Seattle lost the dogfight to the 49ers, but they fought hard to the end against them to only come up very, VERY short on 4th down along with Jaxon Smith Njigba’s unfortunate, surprising drop that could’ve put them in game-tying position. Every yard, every stop, every turnover (God there was a lot of them!), and every big play took place. Seattle suffered on those early and during, but they locked in behind their 12th Man crowd to get back in during the second half. They know this war ain’t over and we expect a similar battle in Round 2.
5) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (4-1)

This was such a questionable Jacksonville game. A kick return touchdown taken away due to a penalty at the start of the game. Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton had to play as a long snapper due to injuries by other ones. Even though the Jags don’t seem confident on the new long snapper, bypassing on field goal kicks multiple times to go for it was questionable. The team also struggled against half of whatever the Eagles roster is. No matter, they found a way to win, and special teams should still be the ones credited for their hard work and effort. They helped the team win and kudos to Hamilton for taking the snaps under center on special teams.
4) BUFFALO BILLS (4-1)

The Bills could’ve lost in so many ways. Turnovers and penalties are supposed to be game killers, but Josh Allen is immune to turnovers, even when it wasn’t his at all. He probably eats them like food. He along with some help by others and the offensive line were able to stay alongside the Rams through overtime until they got the biggest field goal block of the week. Buffalo pulled off a thriller against the Rams just to stay alive in the AFC race alongside the Chiefs and their division rival, Patriots.
3) MINNESOTA VIKINGS (5-0)

Minnesota’s defense continues to be a problem for opposing offenses. They forced three turnovers while shutting down New Orleans on third down plays. Kyler Murray didn’t affect the offense too much and played like himself a bit that was good too. Having Justin Jefferson back was impactful for the offense that played without Jordan Addison while losing TJ Hockenson to an injury during the game.
2) KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (4-0)

BYE
1) SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (5-0)

49ers won a dogfight against Seattle. Every yard, every stop, every turnover (God there was a lot of them!), and every big play took place. They overcame Jaxon Smith Njigba’s assault with Mike Evans coming up in clutch plays. However, San Fran continues losing key players in the fray while Evans staved off the injury bug. Dre Greenlaw also got ejected for headbutting a Seahawk on the sideline and will be suspended against the Commanders. The Niners stay undefeated hoping they don’t lose anymore pieces on the roster.
