What’s up everyone! We are down to just 4 games with a few more teams eliminated while the rest are still being figured out for playoff berths. Depending on this upcoming weekend, teams will start claiming a spot.
The Patriots still hold their 10-game winning streak alongside Denver. The Rams and Seahawks are battling for the NFC West division, but they shouldn’t overlook the 49ers. The Eagles are losing their edge while the Cowboys are still hanging on for a potential NFC East title. The Colts might be in turmoil and calling 911 for Philip Rivers, but the Jaguars and Texans are playing well at the right time. Who wins the AFC North division, and the Bengals are somehow still alive! Can the Bills take down the Patriots to get themselves back into the AFC East race? The Packers hold the NFC North, but it’s far from over as they must go to Chicago in a week from Sunday. With the Chiefs out of the division race and fighting for their lives to get to the postseason, the Broncos and Chargers battle for the AFC West. Finally, as usual in the NFC South, nothing is guaranteed for any team. The Falcons and Saints are eliminated, leaving the Panthers and Bucs to battle for the division starting this weekend. However, the Saints and Falcons could play spoiler to their NFC South opponents this weekend.
Got the idea? Good. Now, let’s enjoy these last few weeks and see how it all ends! Also, sorry for not updating last week’s Power Rankings properly to Week 14. I had a lot going on, including getting World Cup info. I should be back on track now.
TEAMS CONSIDERED
15) TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (7-6)
14) CAROLINA PANTHERS (7-6)
13) PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (8-5)
12) LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (9-4)
11) SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (9-4)
10) DETROIT LIONS (8-5)

Detroit has a list of players that are hurt, but that didn’t stop them from taking it to Dallas. Jared Goff was surgical and Jameson Williams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Jahmyr Gibbs had a field day. They now face the Rams and will need every opportunity to stay alive for a wild card at least.
9) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (9-4)

Jacksonville dragged the Colts into the cage and tore them apart. It was so bad that it left Danny Dimes with a torn Achilles (I don’t want to joke over his injury. Sorry). The Jaguars continue their winning streak at home against Indianapolis and continue holding strong in the playoff and division standings.
8) CHICAGO BEARS (9-4)

Chicago nearly walked right into a blender against Green Bay’s defense. It didn’t look good in the first half, but it got better in the second half and was this close to potentially winning the game before the interception closed the book on their loss. Chicago lost their #1 spot and division lead and have some making up to do against Cleveland before Round 2 on December 28th.
7) BUFFALO BILLS (9-4)

It looked like Buffalo was going to be snowed in. Buffalo linebacker Chris Benford prevented that situation and gave the team a comeback opportunity. James Cook (minus 2 fumbles), Josh Allen, and tight ends Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid, and even Jackson Hawes turned in a good day. Now, they travel to New England hoping to equalize them and stay within range to retaining their division title.
6) HOUSTON TEXANS (8-5)

Houston’s defense is championship level and made mincemeat out of Pat Mahomes and company. Under CJ Stroud, Houston finally defeated the 3-headed monster of Baltimore, Buffalo, and Kansas City all in one season. The Texans cook with 5 straight wins and probably won’t slow down thanks to their easier remaining schedule.
5) GREEN BAY PACKERS (9-3-1)

Green Bay outplays the Bears and holds them down to make sure they didn’t win on Lambeau Field. They retake the division ahead of a very tough matchup with Denver in what should be one of the best games of the week. It’s also about damn time Christian Watson showed up. This is the receiver Green Bay really wanted out of him.
4) DENVER BRONCOS (11-2)

Denver ties for the longest winning streak this season at 10. They handled the Raiders despite allowing a touchdown at the end of the game. Boy wouldn’t that piss off the bettors for whatever spread that was lol The Broncos now face the Packers in what should be one of the best games of the week.
3) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (10-3)

Seattle looked inept in the first half before grounding the Falcons and eliminating them from playoff contention. Former Saint and still enemy of the Falcons Rashid Shaheed finally showed up and had a huge kick return touchdown at the beginning of the 2nd half. Seattle stays on the Rams and hopefully the win this weekend sets up one more opportunity to take the NFC West back from the Rams on December 18th.
2) LOS ANGELES RAMS (10-3)

The Rams crushed Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals in the first round of this matchup. Matt Stafford and Puka Nacua annihilated them together, and now they retake the #1 spot after the Bears’ loss. They host Matt Stafford’s former team Detroit and must win before preparing for a huge Thursday Night game at Seattle.
1) NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (11-2)
