Outside of my Niners getting absolutely dismantled on offense and special teams, the games were really good. Plenty of thrillers and comeback situations again. The best teams like the teams in my Top 5 Power Rankings dueled it out and turned into a great game. No team was more surprising than the New York Giants getting their first win against the Chargers. Jaxson Dart showed out and Brian Daboll’s gotta be the happiest man in the world for the first time too. The Chiefs might be figuring things out with their receivers coming back one week at a time. However, the Ravens could be in some serious trouble with injuries, including Lamar Jackson’s injury. And after Sunday Night’s game, I think it’s proper for Jerry Jones and Micah Parsons shake hands and hug it out. It was the most proper gentlemen’s handshake we’ve ever seen in any NFL game. After all the offseason hoopla with the Micah Parsons trade and Jerry Jones being chastised by the fanbase, it ends in a tie, and both fans are left confused. Good! It was a fantastic weekend of football!
P.S. If y’all hate ties in regular season football, let’s just have a “kick off”. Kickers from two different teams duel it out to see who makes either more successful kicks or the longest kick to decide who wins. Easiest solution and no one gets hurt any further in the game. It’s all decided by the kickers themselves. Otherwise, I’m ok with ties. It makes the playoff standings more dramatic😁
TEAMS CONSIDERED
15) NEW YORK GIANTS (1-3)
14) ARIZONA CARDINALS (2-2)
13) KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (2-2)
12) SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (3-1)
11) LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (3-1)
10) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (3-1)

It was painful to watch my Niners have such a downfall during the game, but Jacksonville played very well. They’re one of the best NFL teams when forcing turnovers. They forced two interceptions, forced three fumbles and recovered two, and returned a punt for a touchdown. Their offense is ok, but this team can win in a variety of ways with their defense while taking advantage of a poor 49ers special teams.
9) PITTSBURGH STEELERS (3-1)

Pittsburgh made a home in Ireland for a week, and they indeed felt like the home team. They set the tone early and held on against Minnesota. When Minnesota seemed like they were going to take advantage of the defense early, Pittsburgh denied those opportunities until late in the fourth quarter. They played probably their best balanced ball this season, and all it took was going overseas.
8) GREEN BAY PACKERS (2-1-1)

Well…we have a Gentlemen’s handshake. What was that Sunday Night game??? I actually wanted a tie, and it ended that way. Green Bay had this game early before the blocked extra point return score motivated Dallas to get into a shootout with them. Micah Parsons was definitely worth the pay because that game-saving tackle on Dak Prescott was pure gold. However, Green Bay continues to be beat up across the roster. Who knows how things will go moving forward. Otherwise, 🤝👔😁
7) DETROIT LIONS (3-1)

Detroit wasn’t going to be baited into any potential upsets like it did last week with rival Green Bay against Cleveland. Detroit took care of business at home, and Aidan Hutchinson and the defense completely impacted the game to ensure Cleveland’s offense doesn’t find any consistency.
6) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (3-1)

Seattle faced a second straight NFC West opponent in a close one. It looked like it was their win guaranteed, but Arizona stormed back late and was this close to snagging it from them. Seattle now won eight straight meetings against Arizona and have a good track record against Kyler Murray during his career (9-2).
5) TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (3-1)

Tampa got their punt blocked and returned for a touchdown very early and that was pretty much the difference in that game next to Baker Mayfield’s endzone interception throw in the latter stages of the game. Tampa tried their best to come back in the second half, but miscues and the offensive line being outplayed by Philly’s defensive line was enough to seal Tampa’s first loss of the season.
4) INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (3-1)

Indianapolis had some struggles, but they eventually got things going and made crucial plays to stay alongside the Rams throughout the game. However, there will be questions about AD Mitchell with losing the ball before reaching the endzone and being called for a hold that took away the Johnathan Taylor touchdown play. Otherwise, Indy should be fine. They competed well.
3) LOS ANGELES RAMS (3-1)

LA was in control of the first half before struggling alongside the Colts for the entire third quarter. But when it mattered, they played their best fourth quarter game and avoided a second straight loss to a good Colts team. Puka Nacua was hot, Davante Adams was key, and Tutu Atwell was clutch. The Rams have momentum going into Thursday Night against rival 49ers.
2) BUFFALO BILLS (4-0)

It was supposed to be a Buffalo cakewalk over New Orleans, but the Saints had other plans. Buffalo was off to a quick start before New Orleans woke up and played competitive football. Still, Josh Allen and company did whatever they could to win and stave off a first loss to the winless Saints.
1) PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (4-0)

Philly’s special teams and defense was all the difference in the world. If it wasn’t for that, it could’ve been a much closer game going Tampa’s way. Doesn’t matter, Philly continues to win and show that they still have a team that can perform in many ways.
