What’s up everyone! I’m not doing much of information on the tournament. I’m just posting this to show my bracket. UNC’s my longtime favorite team and I’m grateful to witness their two championships in my lifetime. They’re a solid squad this year, but I’m wary of some issues they’ll possibly have. They strongly rely on RJ Davis as the court general while Armando Bacot’s the wall that holds up the Heels’ front court and paint on both sides. If they’re not faced with being outsized, foul trouble, or (god help me) injuries, they should make a deep run to win the whole thing.
Meanwhile, Nevada (the school I graduated from) also made the tournament. They’re a good team coached by Steve Alford. They managed to bring in a couple of transfers while further developing their roster that made the First Four last year. They either make a run to the Sweet 16 or they somehow get ousted in either of the first two rounds. While the roster is good, they have issues either scoring consistently, getting in foul trouble, or failing to stop a team from scoring. Consistency is key for a run…until they run into the Tarheels if possible.
Overall, many have UConn repeating, while Houston’s favored to return to the Final Four alongside Purdue, and UNC. I have a feeling at least two one seeds won’t make it. In my opinion, the teams to keep an eye on is Auburn, James Madison, New Mexico, Clemson, San Diego State, NC State, Grand Canyon, McNeese State, BYU, Colorado State, Colorado, Texas, and Texas A&M. Any of those teams could play spoiler or Cinderella and make a deep run for the Final Four.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the NCAA Tournament for any sports fans and basketball heads! Go Pack and Go Heels!!!
