What’s up everyone! Hope your favorite teams made the playoffs. If not and they’re still alive for a playoff spot, good luck out there. If your team didn’t make it, sorry they didn’t but hopefully there’s hope for the future and hopefully they’re aiming for a top five pick in the 2024 draft.
First, I want to thank any and every one that stopped by to check out my blogs. I really appreciate it. It helped me out a lot and gave me plenty of perspective for the future.
Second, I’m concluding the Top 5 NFL Games and the Top 10 College Football Games for good. It’s not over but I’m making changes for the future. Due to my full-time schedule at one job, a part-time schedule at the other, and my independent freelancing gig during football season, I don’t have time to fill out the information for the weekly Top Games. However, I’m making changes to my content and you guys will be very interested. In my eight years of posting football and sports information in general, I already have ideas for my future content. I won’t go into too much detail, so just stay tuned for the future. You won’t be disappointed.
Finally, I will do the playoff information and make my prediction on who advances to the Super Bowl and wins the whole thing. I will also be in Vegas for the Super Bowl events next month. This will be my first time attending a city that’s hosting one. I won’t be inside for the game (unless there’s a miracle), but I will be around the strip and areas that’ll have it and more. I cannot wait and I’ll be sure to tell my story once I return. Hope you all have a great week and good luck to your teams in Week 18.
STEELERS AT RAVENS
1:30PM PT/4:30PM [ ESPN/ABC/ESPN+]
Pittsburgh is two spots from at least the seventh seed. A win, a Bills loss, and a loss or a tie between Houston and Indianapolis can clinch Pittsburgh the seventh seed. Baltimore has homefield advantage so they can careless what happens.
MY PICK: STEELERS
TEXANS AT COLTS
5:15PM PT/8:15PM ET [ESPN/ABC/ESPN+ ON SATURDAY]

This is a potential division title game (if Jacksonville loses) and an elimination game. Houston has leverage already and could Spartan kick Indianapolis right out. However, Indy has homefield advantage and needs the “Lawd House” (dubbed by Pat McAfee) to back the Colts for 60 game minutes and stop “The Strouds” (dubbed by Tom Grossi’s Houston acting). However, both teams must avoid a tie or Pittsburgh’s win likely eliminates one or both of them.
MY PICK: COLTS
FALCONS AT SAINTS
10AM PT/1PM ET [CBS]

This is an elimination game for both teams. If the Bucs lose, the game means a lot more with the NFC South division title on the line. If Tampa wins the NFC South division, then the seventh seed becomes more difficult for Atlanta and New Orleans.
MY PICK: SAINTS
VIKINGS AT LIONS
10AM PT/1PM ET [FOX]

Vikings are desperate and need help clinching the seventh seed. Good luck as they battle Detroit that’s in line to finish at three unless Dallas and/or Philadelphia slip up. Detroit accepts their position, but Minnesota is not. Expect a slugfest in this regular season NFC North finale. However, Vikings fans should hold their breath as Nick Mullens starts.
MY PICK: LIONS
BEARS AT PACKERS
1:25PM PT/4:25PM ET [CBS]

Meanwhile in Green Bay, a Packer win clinches the final spot. Simple, right? However, remember what happened last year? An improving Lions upset and eliminated Green Bay on the road. Interesting because Chicago looks improved since October. Do we call Chicago the “Bad News Bears” for Green Bay? We shall see.
MY PICK: BEARS
JAGUARS AT TITANS
10AM PT/1PM ET [CBS]

A Jags win clinches the AFC South division title. Unfortunately, it’s not easy when they face the Titans at Tennessee. They never forgotten about what happened last season when they lost a close one that not only lost them the title, but also eliminated them from playoff contention. If Trevor Lawrence returns to play, they can try holding off Tennessee in a revenge finale while staving off both Indianapolis and Houston for the title. If Jacksonville loses, they still have a sliver of hope if both Buffalo and Pittsburgh lose.
MY PICK: JAGUARS
EAGLES AT GIANTS
1:25PM PT/4:25PM ET [CBS]
Philly must wake up and smell the roses somewhere in Brotherly Love because they need a win and a Cowboys’ loss to lock up the two seed. Otherwise, they’re locked at five and will face an NFC South division winner next weekend.
MY PICK: EAGLES
SEAHAWKS AT CARDINALS
1:25PM PT/4:25PM ET [FOX]

Seattle needs a win and Packer loss to clinch the seventh seed while Arizona’s motivated after an upset win over the Eagles. Does Arizona have something to play for? Pride, possibly? Wouldn’t they like it if they host Seattle just to win that game and make them stay as long as possible? Eh, we’ll see. As a Niner fan, thank you again, Red Pheasants!
MY PICK: CARDINALS
BUCCANEERS AT PANTHERS
10AM PT/1PM ET [FOX]
A Bucs win means they’re in. Sounds simple, but Baker and the gang must bounce back after taking a beating against the Saints. They also can’t underestimate Bryce Young. If they let him cook, it’ll be a long day for Tampa Bay. Is there anymore Mayfield magic left in Baker to return to the postseason since being a Brown???
MY PICK: BUCCANEERS
RAMS AT 49ERS
1:25PM PT/4:25PM ET [FOX]
While both teams are resting their starters and it may not mean much, the Rams seeding is still on the line. A win locks them up at the sixth seed likely setting them up with an epic Trade Match against Detroit in the Wild Card Round. If they lose, they drop down to the seventh seed only if Green Bay wins. Do as you like to the 49ers. We’ll possibly see you in two weeks, Los Angeles.
MY PICK: 49ERS (even though the Rams most likely win)
COWBOYS AT COMMANDERS
1:25PM PT/4:25PM ET [FOX]
Dallas needs a win to clinch the NFC East title and lock down the two seed. If they lose, they either drop to the three seed (if Philly loses) or the five seed. If they end up losing, they will need both Detroit and Philly to lose to keep their title and two seed. Don’t underestimate the Commanders because they’ll sling the ball until failure for 60 game minutes. Must DaRon Bland put an end to Washington for good with one more Pick-6?
MY PICK: COWBOYS
BILLS AT DOLPHINS
THE MADDEN CURSE VS. THE HARD KNOCKS CURSE
5:20PM PT/8:20PM ET [NBC]

This regular season finale has plenty to tune in to. The AFC East title and the two seed are up for grabs. Also, this is the battle between Hard Knocks curse and the Madden curse. Whichever wins (as in team that loses) makes it officially relevant and teams must avoid it altogether, but maybe it’s best to avoid it at all costs. HOWEVER!!! While Miami’s loss isn’t detrimental, they likely fall to either the 5th or 6th seed depending on the Browns’ result. Buffalo’s loss puts them at risk of being eliminated if Pittsburgh wins. They would have to survive at the seventh seed if both the Colts and Texans tie. Good luck!!!
MY PICK: BILLS
