Daily writing prompt
Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it?

There are so many places I visited and move to, it’s hard to keep up with. But I will say I at least have three in mind and one I’m really curious about visiting:

Coleville, California. The majority have no clue where that is, but it’s a very, very small town surrounded by mountains, plains, rivers, and lakes. It’s very beautiful. I lived there for nine months and started high school as a freshman. Great times and great memories. I wish I had more time there, but duty calls elsewhere for my pops, and I can’t blame him for that.

Okinawa, Japan. I was about three or four years old when I first moved there. I didn’t have much awareness of life until I was five years old. My first ever memories were living in tall apartment buildings surrounded in a city area that kinda compares to San Francisco, but the place was much smaller than San Fran. We were by the beach and downtown areas. We visited my dad’s friend’s village. We attempted to walk down to a sunken ship when the sea was barren and dried, but it was my fault for us not reaching our destination. I saw a black, hairy like snake that freaked me the heck out. Again, I was a child. I didn’t know better. I would love to visit again and make that my bucket list to reach that sunken ship if it’s still around. Overall, love the place and would visit again.

Provo, Utah. Just went there a couple of weeks ago for a BYU/Oklahoma football game. I stayed there for two days, but the vacation was well worth it. Nice people everywhere I go and good food too. I was given suggestions of places to visit. I hope I make it a yearly thing whether it’s to go there for a Utah/BYU football game or just a small vacation to get away from my current location for a few days. It was well worth the 8-hour drive.

One place I do want to visit someday and maybe live there if things don’t work out for me in the U.S. or I choose to retire (semi-retire) but settle down for the rest of my life is Montenegro. I had a conversation with someone that lived there and gave me more information. I checked it out on Google and I already fell in love with the place. It’s surrounded by mountains and water, which was always my dream location. I hope to visit there someday to take in the whole experience and culture.
