AFC WEST

The Chiefs with a sickly Pat Mahomes were lackluster against the Broncos. They should be fine, but their schedule takes a turn as the weeks go on. Speaking of Denver, they won two straight games with both offense and defense playing better football. Defeating the Chiefs after 16-straight losses is a major confidence booster for the locker room and coaching staff. The Chargers could find their way through, but can coach Brandon Staley finally get out of his own way? The Raiders…might be done for the season. It’s November, the offense is bad, Davante Adams is frustrated, and it’s hard to say if Jimmy G. and/or Josh McDaniels will survive this season. Lo and behold! The news this morning announced that McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler were fired, promoting Antonio Pierce to interim head coach. Can he get this offense going while keeping the defense true?
AFC EAST

The AFC East is tilting towards Miami, but their schedule gets a little tougher as the weeks go on and the season gets colder. Buffalo’s currently ebbing-and-flowing. For a great team, there’s some issues. Here’s my one and only reason for it…MADDEN CURSE! Don’t believe me, research it! The Jets are not out of this. Aaron Rodgers’ presence is a confidence booster, and it fixes the locker room morale. Hell, Zach Wilson’s still game-managing, for those of you Jets fans who still haven’t practiced patience since Week 1. The Patriots are likely done. The offense has little to no answer and the defense is slowly getting beat up. It’s just impossible to believe they’ll find a run.
AFC NORTH

Well, looks like Baltimore could find their way into the playoffs again this season. The teams’ ducking and weaving through injuries and looking healthier and better each week. However, the Bengals and Joe Burrow are looking like themselves again. It’s getting colder, which means Cincy’s looking meaner. Who are the Browns and what’s happening to the Steelers? Well, I know about the Browns. They’re historically bad whether it’s the record or the organization itself (Organization!). Pittsburgh’s going through a lot, and the Fire Matt Canada chants loom very largely amongst the birds flying south for the winter.
AFC SOUTH

Speaking of south, that division’s looking strongly at the Jaguars. They’re finding their form and looking better each week on all sides of the ball. However, the Titans won’t go quietly. Will Levis performed very well, but I’m not sold on him just yet. Can he make things work consistently with D-Hop and King Henry? The Colts are a hard out with a solid roster, but Minshew mania has its limits no matter if Jonathan Taylor’s available or not. It’s best to have Jim Irsay properly schedule a viewing of the Minshew mania event. The Texans could be in line for a playoff push. This is a young, but solid roster. It’s not likely they’ll make it, but let’s not count them out just yet. Great job, Demeco Ryans!
