BYE WEEK: FALCONS, BEARS, PACKERS, COLTS, SAINTS, COMMANDERS
What’s up everyone? Now, that college football enters the postseason, I have more time to work on NFL information and plan to do up to five NFL previews weekly (if possible). Hope you all enjoy and thanks for taking the time to check out my posts and following me too. Be sure to like, follow, and feel free to comment and even give your own predictions on matchups too. Have a great week everyone!
NFC EAST RIVALRY
EAGLES AT GIANTS – 10AM PT/1PM ET

Philly begins their 3-game road trip starting with a visit to the Meadowlands. The Eagles avoided further slip-ups against Indianapolis and Green Bay. Then they showed off their new toy (AJ Brown) to Tennessee in a one-sided victory. It probably won’t happen again with New York as they dish out some healthy Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones to make the matchup very interesting. The Eagles put the brakes on Derrick Henry and made the offense one dimensional, but they struggled to stop the run game at times prior to the Tennessee matchup. The Giants will put a lot on Barkley and Jones to break down Philly’s defense while New York’s defense finds a solution to Jalen Hurts’ dynamic playmaking. Even if they do, Philadelphia should escape with a one-score victory.
MY PICK: EAGLES
AFC EAST RIVARLY REMATCH
JETS AT BILLS – 10AM PT/1PM ET

The Jets and Bills enter Round 2 of this rivalry, and the Bills are looking for payback after coming up short, along with Josh Allen’s elbow injury towards the end. That previous loss led to the Bills first back-to-back loss this season. Albeit the team is also without Von Miller, Matt Milano and company stepped up. The Jets looked like the team that could make a serious playoff push after their 6-3 start. Unfortunately, they went 1-2 since the Bills upset, including Zach Wilson being benched for failing to hold accountability for his performance. Mike White’s a good backup, but the offense hasn’t been great in the redzone and must find answers. Until they do, the Bills equalize with a win to continue their AFC East win streak.
MY PICK: BILLS
THE PLAYOFF PUSH
VIKINGS AT LIONS – 10AM PT/1PM ET

In the first meeting, Minnesota overcame a 14-point deficit and a third quarter shutout to rally in the fourth quarter for a win. For the second meeting, the Lions will try to further Minnesota’s nightmare for all four quarters. Each week, Detroit’s news on player returns continue to impact the team positively. It led to four wins in their last five games, including a near upset on Thanksgiving over the Bills. Minnesota escaped imminent fate a lot in nine of their last 10 wins, except Philadelphia and Dallas. These situations have benefitted the team after having plenty of close losses last season. Thus far, only two of three NFC East teams have defeated Minnesota. Is it possible that the Vikings could sweep the NFC North? Nope! The Lions are continuing their momentum at the right time and look to upset the Vikings at home.
MY PICK: LIONS
OLD GOAT VS. YOUNG IRRELEVANT
BUCCANEERS AT 49ERS – 1:25PM PT/4:25PM ET

Ol’ Tampa Tom still got it after an “in-a-pinch” double-digit comeback win against New Orleans. They should feel good going into San Francisco to play against Brady’s favorite team, the 49ers. Tom Brady’s Bucs are beat up everywhere you can think of, which is why they are 6-6. But they overcame obstacles to stay in the race for the division title in the oddest fashion possible. San Fran are overcoming their own adversity of injuries, but the adversity may have gone to a new level. Despite their five straight wins, they lost Jimmy G. for a few weeks, if not for the rest of the season. They do have one of the best defenses in the league and one of the best and more dynamic skilled players that a quarterback can benefit from. Even though, Brock Purdy’s running the offense, the team has trust in those positions with plenty of pass rush against little to no mobile Tom Brady.
MY PICK: 49ERS
SNF – BATTLE OF 2020 CLASS QB’S
DOLPHINS AT CHARGERS – 5:20PM PT/8:20PM ET

Miami moves on from their loss and is hopefully traveling down south to Los Angeles to rest, recover, and reflect from Sunday before their Sunday Night matchup with the Chargers. What seemed like a boat race with San Fran after their first score with Trent Sherfield crashed and burned real fast, real quick. They failed to respond time and time again, and Tua was getting buried by Nick Bosa consistently. The Chargers dealt with the same issue against “Maxximum” Crosby and company throughout the game. The line struggled at times and the defense were getting tenderized by Josh Jacobs and cooked by Davante Adams. After a 4-2 start, they went in reverse at 2-4 in their last six games with injuries in key spots. It was a damaging blow on Sunday for Miami (fail from the top spot in the AFC East) and the Chargers (two spots out of the playoffs), but one of them bounces back with the talent they have. However, Miami isn’t so injury-riddled and have the offense and defense to re-take control of their playoff destiny.
MY PICK: DOLPHINS
