BRACKET AND POWER RANKINGS

I will make this post fairly short until I figure out how to make this work. Who knows, maybe I’ll run with it like that too.

THURSDAY NIGHT PREVIEW

COLTS AT BRONCOS – 5:15PM PT/8:15PM ET [PRIME VIDEO]

Indianapolis has not lived up to expectations thus far. The offensive line and receivers are unproven. To make things worse, Jonathan Taylor’s out with an injury. Matt Ryan must get this team going somehow or it could turn into another disappointing season for Indy. As for Denver, they may have found the formula to their offense after scoring 20 plus points for the first time this season. Unfortunately, they’ll be without Javonte Williams for the rest of the season, but it gives Melvin Gordon III and Mike Boone more opportunities. It should be a no-brainer for the Broncos to be the fourth home team to win on Thursday Night this season, but the score should be close since both teams are inept offensively.

MY PICK: BRONCOS

SUNDAY NIGHT PREVIEW

BENGALS AT RAVENS – 5:20PM PT/8:20PM ET

Cincinnati won their last two games scoring 27 points while allowing only under 20 in back-to-back games. They looked like the team that went to the Super Bowl after finishing the last two games strong. The Ravens should’ve been the team to win the AFC North, but their defense isn’t consistent, especially in the passing game. The offense looks good, but they can’t seem to finish games. Plenty has to do with Lamar Jackson carrying the team with only Mark Andrews backing him up. Receivers and running backs must play more of a role on offense. I’m seeing two different paths in this matchup, and that it Balty sliding while Cincy’s climbing. The Ravens could come out hot, but Cincinnati will eventually be on Lamar and company.

MY PICK: BENGALS

MONDAY NIGHT PREVIEW

RAIDERS AT CHIEFS – 5:15PM PT/8:15PM ET

The Raiders defense is also little better than some would think. However, the offense must repeat their performance at a more consistent pace, and Derek Carr must avoid turnovers at all costs. The Chiefs punished Tom Brady’s Buccaneers last week with some nasty plays in the air and on the ground. Their match against the Raiders, however, have always been tricky these past couple of seasons. Kansas City should escape this one either by a one possession score or a defensive stop.

MY PICK: CHIEFS
