COWBOYS AT GIANTS – 5:15PM PT/8:15PM ET [ESPN/ABC]
Dallas bounced back with defensive plays led by future Hall of Famer in the making, Micah Parsons. Cooper Rush played solid in his start and kept the mistakes to a minimum, but can he keep the Cowboys riding until Dak Prescott returns from injury? The New York Football Giants are 2-0 for the first time since 2016. They made the playoffs that season and things could look optimistic for them as long as Saquon Barkley stays healthy and Daniel Jones continues his progression.
DALLAS COWBOYS PREVIEW

The Cowboys’ offense didn’t look great against the Buccaneers, but they did a little better against Cincinnati the following week. What I find concerning is their new pass catchers after CeeDee Lamb and Dalton Schultz while while James Washington’s on IR and Michael Gallup is questionable. It is nice to know that Noah Brown is filling in nicely as an option. Their defense is representing Big D pretty dang well thanks to Micah Parsons. It likely continues as they head to the Meadowlands to try and slow down Saquon Barkley.
NEW YORK GIANTS PREVIEW

The New York Football Giants stays undefeated (even though it’s only 2 games). Having Saquon Barkley healthy and running rampant on opposing defenses is good enough for Giants fans. The real group that’s satisfied with Barkley’s healthy run is the Giants defense. They avoid suffering from long periods of time on the field as long as Barkley and the offense stays consistent. Now the defense can finally execute plays without feeling exhausted. Watch below on Tae Crowder’s hit on Derrick Henry from Week 1. Let’s see what New York has in store for Dallas at home.

THE MATCHUP
There are questions about Dallas’s offense while it’s unclear if the Giants look for real or if they’re running on a temporary high. New York defeated both teams that are 0-2 right now while Dallas played a tough Bucs team and a Super Bowl runner-up Bengals. The Giants play close against Dallas in the Meadowlands and won last year. As much as I want to side with Dallas because of Micah Parsons and their defense, I’m uncertain if the offense can get going eventually. I’m riding with the Giants’ momentum at home for this matchup.
