The final playoff predictions will be uploaded a few days before the season starts. I have no idea if I’ll do weekly game previews or what not, but I’ll figure something out before or during the season. Also, I’m not planning to do the Underrated Teams this season. I’m currently working two jobs and with so much happening with the NIL and the transfer portal and my life, it’s a bit overwhelming to keep up with everything. Hopefully, I will do a podcast previewing certain teams for the upcoming season. Be on the look out for that in my future postings. Thank you to everyone who took the time to check out my website. It’s truly appreciated and I hope to bring more consistent content for you all. Have a great day!

NFC PLAYOFF STANDINGS

1) PACKERS
Green Bay will have options at receiver, including Aaron Jones and tight ends, for Rodgers to throw to. Hopefully the offensive line stays healthy and special teams improves overall this season.
2) SAINTS
The offensive line looked solid and Jameis Winston had a nice temporary game in his return from injury last season. If Winston stays healthy all season, the offense could look much better and Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill feels a huge relief from carrying the team.
3) EAGLES
It’s only preseason, but Philadelphia’s defense got carved up single-handedly by Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins. Then again, it seems to happen to most teams matched up against him. Just something to be aware of. As long as the coverage doesn’t get hurt, the team should be ready to challenge for the NFC East.
4) RAMS
These injuries are nothing to mess around with if you are the Rams. Key injuries during the season will hurt Los Angeles’s roster depth and chances for another Super Bowl opportunity, let alone a playoff opportunity. However, receiver Lance McCutcheon and quarterback Bryce Perkins stood out in the preseason and hopefully they make the roster.
5) 49ERS
The offensive line depth could be an issue. It’s crucial that Trent Williams and any other start stays healthy for an entire season. Rookie Spencer Burford received a lot of positive feedback, which bodes well for the offense. The Niners backend coverage has played some of the best football this preseason. Hopefully that carries over into the regular season.
6) BUCCANEERS (TIED)
Tom Brady’s Bucs lost a couple of more linemen to injury. It’s unclear if Robert Hainsey will be ready in time for Week 1, but Tristan Wirfs should return by Week 1. Nick Leverett was also injured during the 3rd quarter in didn’t return. The injury bug is seriously affecting the offensive line. Brady isn’t mobile, so this could go wrong real fast, real quick if they encounter any pass rushing teams.
7) VIKINGS (TIED)
The quarterback depth behind Kirk Cousins isn’t great, which is worrisome if Cousins gets hurt at all. Minnesota being at the 7th spot is all speculation depending on the teams’ situation below them. The offense will be dangerous, but can this defense bounce back from last season?

AFC PLAYOFF STANDINGS

1) BILLS
There’s a bit of a concern in the cornerback position. Tre’Davious White is unable to play in Week 1. Jordan Poyer is making improvements and hopes to be ready by Week 1. The defensive back spot could be an issue for now. It may affect Buffalo nabbing the top spot in the AFC.
2) RAVENS
Anthony Brown hopes to make the 53-man roster. Pass catchers Makai Polk and Isaiah Likely should have opportunities to contribute on the field during the season. Marcus Peters hopes to make his way back for the first regular season game.
3) CHARGERS
The Chargers need more from their running backs outside of Austin Ekeler. The defensive backs should be wary of injuries since JC Jackson got hurt. He’s out between 2-4 weeks, which leads to Asante Samuel potentially assuming the role.
4) COLTS
The Colts suffered some early injuries to their starters. Shaq Leonard might be on the PUP list at the start of the season. Kwity Paye and Ryan Kelly are questionable, but Paye should be fine for Week 1. They can’t afford losing guys like them when the Jaguars and Titans are breathing down their necks.
5) CHIEFS
The Chiefs’ defense are playing in space and attacking the backfield consistently. It may be preseason, but it’s an improvement from last season when they struggled in that category. Hopefully it translates during the season in a quarterback-driven AFC West.
6) RAIDERS (TIED)
The Raiders pass rush continues to show during the preseason. This could be very helpful when playing against the AFC West’s best offenses, and it hopefully leads to more turnovers for Josh McDaniels’ offense to capitalize on.
7) STEELERS (TIED)
Pittsburgh is very difficult to keep out for a playoff spot. However, there’s some concern about Diontae Johnson and TJ Watt’s injury against the Lions. If Johnson’s unable to play in Week 1, George Pickens gets showcase his talents. Pittsburgh, however, can’t afford to lose TJ Watt at any point during the season. Former Steeler defensive back Ike Taylor mentioned that Kenny Pickett should be the starter, but Mike Tomlin’s trying to keep him out until something happens during the season. Tomlin’s committed to Mitch Trubisky being the starter until he says otherwise or Mitch gets hurt or plays ineffectively.
