Last month’s games had some big wins, dramatic finishes, and surprises from teams no one expected to be successful so early or at all. October will show who makes a statement and separates themselves from the rest. It will also show if current top teams like Michigan State and Arkansas are for real and deserve to hang around the Top 25. Speaking of that, I posted my ideas on who could appear in the rankings during October. It’s very likely for a few but others must show that they deserve to appear there. It’s a long month, so expect the Top 25 to continue shifting.
