It’s difficult to explain the quarterback situation. I’m optimistic about Jacob Eason being the starter, but the Colts organization and/or community don’t feel the same. Sam Ehlinger’s injury from the last game also adds speculation to the quarterback depth chart. Many hope that Carson Wentz is healthy enough to be available for Week 1. Either way, have faith in Eason and trust the guys around him for now.

WILD CARD

5) BROWNS+

Baker Mayfield

The Browns lock up at five after the Ravens lose JK Dobbins for the season.

6) RAVENS+

JK Dobbins

The Ravens lock up at six after losing JK Dobbins for the season. They’re still playoff contenders even without him, but Gus Edwards will take on more offensive responsibilities. He will likely have help from Lamar Jackson, Justice Hill, and Ty’Son Williams.

7) CHARGERS

Mac Jones

The team moves on from Cam Newton after releasing him. They’re fully committed to Mac Jones as the long-term starter, which I’m not surprised. He’ll be one of the three active Alabama quarterbacks that starts in the NFL.
