DIVISION WINNERS
1) CHIEFS
2) BILLS
3) STEELERS

The Steelers get the benefit of the doubt, and drafting running back Najee Harris was the right choice for Ben Roethlisberger and the offense to be formidable in the AFC again. What will the offensive line look like when the regular season starts though? Also, T.J. Watt’s hold out is something to keep an eye on but it shouldn’t be an issue.
4) TITANS
WILD CARD
5) BROWNS

The Browns have running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, cornerbacks Denzel Ward and John Johnson III, and now have defensive ends Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney. This is a duo combination of epic proportions on one team. If some can stay healthy and come together, watch out for the Browns again.
6) RAVENS
7) PATRIOTS
OUTSIDE LOOKING IN
CHARGERS
BRONCOS
RAIDERS

The criticisms I receive will continue, but the Raiders will stick around this list because I think their offense will be as good as last season. Also, they’re the only team in the AFC that’s a thorn in the Chiefs’ side. However, they must stay healthy while enduring a 17-game season. For them to move up, I need positive feedback from their defense. That’s it!
COLTS

The Colts suffered a significant drop after Carson Wentz’s foot injury. He won’t return until possibly October or November. When mentioning that, six of their first seven games will be the most challenging. They play the Seahawks, the Rams, the Titans twice, and three road games at Miami, Baltimore, and San Francisco. Yeah, not fun without Wentz, so now they must look to their backups. Jacob Eason, Brett Hundley, and rookie Sam Ehlinger could be potential starters. For now, running back Johnathan Taylor must carry the offense for the time being.
